Elido
Closed beta

Built for teams that take links seriously.

Elido is in closed beta. The customer wall lands here as the first cohort goes live — for now, this page is honest about where we are.

We won't put fake logos here. If you're considering switching, we'll happily put you in touch with a current beta team that runs a similar workload.

Featured story

How a B2B SaaS team killed 12,000 Bitly links in a weekend.

B2B SaaS · 50–200 employees · DACH

Migration without breaking links, attribution without breaking lawyers.

The team had three problems pinned to the same wall: a Bitly contract up for renewal, an EU-residency requirement from a new enterprise customer, and a marketing org that needed first-party conversion attribution that survived Safari ITP. Elido hit all three in one cutover. The CSV importer absorbed every legacy slug 1:1 — including the hand-typed ones in printed marketing — and the click-cap feature flagged two scrapers nobody had noticed before.

We migrated 12,000 Bitly links in a weekend. The CSV importer just worked, and the click cap on the new short URLs caught two scrapers we didn't know existed.

Where the demand is

Where we're seeing the most pull

Four use-case shapes account for most of the closed-beta cohort. Each one maps to a different combination of capabilities.

B2B SaaS

Onboarding email links, in-product CTAs, partner share buttons. Smart-link rules route trials to the right region; conversion tracking ties revenue back to the campaign.

  • ~10× workflow links per workspace
  • Stripe checkout attribution
  • SCIM via WorkOS

E-commerce & DTC

Branded short URLs on packaging, social bios, paid acquisition. QR codes with logo overlay; deep links into the iOS / Android app when installed.

  • Branded QR codes
  • Universal Links / App Links
  • Shopify order attribution

Agencies

Per-client custom domains under one workspace. Wildcard subdomain support means new clients get *.example.com without DNS changes per launch.

  • Wildcard subdomains
  • Custom roles per client
  • White-label dashboard

Platform & infrastructure

Shorteners are infrastructure. Our customers self-host the redirect tier in their own VPC; we run the dashboard.

  • Helm chart, Apache 2.0
  • Kubernetes-native edge
  • OpenTelemetry traces

Outcomes, not vibes

Click volume and conversion shape, by industry.

Aggregated from the closed-beta cohort — relative weights, not absolute numbers. Conversion lift is self-reported by customers comparing the prior shortener against the same campaigns on Elido.

  • Real-time dashboards
Click streams land in ClickHouse within 5 seconds; dashboards update on the same cadence.
  • Cohort comparisons
Compare any two campaigns or any two time windows side-by-side; export to CSV / Sheets.
  • Replay-friendly attribution
click_id joins survive ITP and ad-blockers; conversions land via webhook, not pixel.

We needed a shortener that we could point a security team at without flinching. Elido's audit log and SCIM integration closed two open questions for us.

Self-hosting was the deciding factor. We run the redirect tier on our own Kubernetes; the rest hits Elido's API. Rates dropped, latency dropped.

Migration

Migrated from Bitly / TinyURL / Rebrandly without breaking links.

The cutover plan we’ve run with every closed-beta customer that brought legacy links along. Four steps, dry-run before cutover, full audit on the other side.

  1. Step 1

    Export

from Bitly / TinyURL / Rebrandly

CSV export from the source tool. We accept their schema directly — no column-renaming exercise.

  2. Step 2

    Dry-run

    validate · resolve collisions

Importer simulates every redirect, flags slug clashes, surfaces dead destinations before any link goes live.

  3. Step 3

    Cutover

    DNS swap · 5-minute window

Point your branded short domain at Elido. We honour every legacy slug 1:1 — no broken links in the wild.

  4. Step 4

    Audit

    post-migration report

Full diff: which slugs migrated, which redirected, which 404’d. Sign-off lives in your audit log.
