Elido is built by a small team that has run links infrastructure before, in places where every millisecond and every euro counts. We started Elido because we wanted a URL shortener that we would happily recommend to a finance team, a security team, and a marketing team in the same week.

We are headquartered in the EU, our infrastructure is in the EU, and our default contracts are EU law. That is not a marketing line — it is a real reason customers pick us over US-only competitors.
