Create your Elido account

Creating an Elido account takes about 60 seconds. The free tier requires no credit card — you get 100 short links per month, basic analytics, and one workspace, which is enough to evaluate whether Elido is the right fit before you upgrade.

Sign up#

1. Open elido.app/signup.
2. Enter your work email and a password (minimum 12 characters; the form will reject anything in the rockyou.txt leak list).
3. Click Create account. We send a verification email immediately — links expire after 24 hours, so confirm soon.

If you'd rather sign in with a passwordless magic link, skip the password field and click Email me a sign-in link instead. We use Ory Kratos for identity, so your password (or absence of one) is hashed with Argon2 and never leaves the EU.

Verify your email#

You can't shorten any links until your email is verified. The first onboarding email lands in your inbox within seconds of signup; click the Verify email button to land back in the dashboard.

If the email doesn't arrive:

• Check spam — Postmark deliverability is good, but corporate filters sometimes hold the first message from a new sender.
• Check that your domain accepts mail from noreply@elido.app. If you're on a strict allow-list, ask IT to whitelist that address.
• Resend from the dashboard's banner. The link rotates each time.

Pick a workspace name#

Workspaces group your links, custom domains, team members, and billing. Most solo users keep the default Personal workspace. Teams should rename it to match the company or product the workspace bills for — e.g. acme-marketing. You can rename it any time under Settings → Workspace.
