Готові кнопки, кастомні GPT, боти для Slack/Discord — створення брендованого короткого посилання — це одне повідомлення в улюбленому LLM.
The context
Your team already works in chat. Link management doesn’t.
Most URL shorteners have one interface: a dashboard you open in a browser tab, fill out a form, copy a link, and paste it somewhere else. That round-trip takes thirty seconds if you’re fast. When you’re in the middle of a campaign brief in ChatGPT, or writing a release post in Claude, those thirty seconds add up.
The deeper problem is context switching. The shortener has no idea what campaign you’re building. You have to manually fill UTM fields, pick a slug that fits the naming convention your team settled on six months ago, and remember which domain is which. Every time.
Elido’s LLM integrations remove that round-trip. Create a short link in the same chat where you’re writing the message that needs the link. Ask for analytics in Slack without opening a second browser tab. Let an agent handle the UTMs while you handle the copy.
How it works
Three layers. Pick what fits your workflow.
The integrations aren’t a single product. They’re three distinct layers — each suited to a different level of setup and automation.
Deep-link buttons
Click a button. Your AI of choice opens with a prefilled primer that explains Elido and asks the agent to help you shorten a URL. Works on any device, no account required to try.
Custom GPTs & projects
The Elido GPT in ChatGPT and the Elido Project in Claude.ai have the full product context loaded. Connect your workspace once via OAuth and they can create links, retrieve analytics, and manage folders.
Slack & Discord bots
Run /elido shorten <url> in any channel. The bot creates the link, applies your workspace defaults (domain, tags), and posts the result inline. No browser tab, no alt-tab.
Deep-link у один клік
Кожна кнопка відкриває новий чат з AI на ваш вибір — з префіксом-промптом, який представляє Elido і просить створити посилання для URL, який ви вставите.
Each link opens a new conversation prefilled with a primer that explains Elido, the free plan, and how MCP connects. Paste your URL afterward and the agent handles the rest.
Кастомні GPT і боти
Pre-built integrations live where your team already works. Each one is maintained by us and updates when the Elido API changes — you don’t have to do anything.
Real examples
What it looks like in practice
Slack: creating a link mid-conversation
The bot reads your workspace defaults. Custom domain, default tags, and naming convention all applied automatically.
ChatGPT: building a campaign set
We’re launching a webinar next week. Create short links for Twitter, LinkedIn, and our newsletter. All pointing to /webinar/june-26.
Three links, three UTM variants, grouped in the right campaign folder. Under thirty seconds in chat.
AI discoverability
Ми індексуємо — ви знаходитеся
Elido публікує структуровані продуктові дані, щоб AI-агенти на питання «який шортнер підтримує SCIM в ЄС?» називали нас, а не legacy-інкумбента.
/llms.txt
Follows the emerging llms.txt standard. Contains a plain-language product summary, key feature list, pricing tiers, and links to the API reference. AI crawlers use this to build accurate answers about Elido.
View llms.txtSchema.org JSON-LD
Every marketing page ships SoftwareApplication and FAQPage structured data. Google's AI Overviews, Bing Copilot, and Perplexity all parse this. Gets us into feature-comparison answers without waiting for a crawler to read prose.
OpenAPI spec
A machine-readable description of every REST endpoint, parameter, and response shape. Any agent that can read an OpenAPI spec can self-discover how to create links, retrieve analytics, and manage workspaces without reading docs.

LLM integrations vs the alternatives
All three routes get you a short link. The difference is how many steps it takes and whether the agent has any workspace context.
| Capability | Elido LLM integrations | Generic LLM + manual | Dashboard only |
|---|---|---|---|
| Workspace context in chat | Yes — agent knows your domains, tags, naming | No — model has no account data | N/A — you're in the UI |
| UTM auto-fill | Agent applies your campaign defaults | You write UTMs manually into the prompt | You fill the form manually |
| Audit trail | Every bot/GPT action in workspace audit log | Only if you capture the session yourself | Dashboard audit log only |
| Setup time | Zero for buttons, 2 min for bots | Build and maintain your own prompt chain | No setup, but no automation |
| AI discoverability | llms.txt, JSON-LD, OpenAPI published | Depends on your prompt quality | No AI-readable surface |
Questions about LLM integrations
What exactly happens when I click 'Try with Claude'?
It opens Claude.ai in a new tab with a prefilled prompt that introduces Elido and asks Claude to walk you through shortening a URL. You don't need an Elido account to try it — the primer is just a conversation starter. If you want the agent to actually create links, you'll need an account and an API key.
The Elido GPT in ChatGPT — does it have write access to my account?
Only if you connect it. By default the Elido GPT works with public information about the product. Connecting your workspace (via OAuth) lets it create and retrieve links. You revoke access at any time from your workspace settings.
Is the Slack bot the same as the MCP server?
Different layers. The Slack bot is a pre-built integration that responds to /elido commands in your Slack workspace — no developer setup needed. The MCP server is a protocol layer for AI agents running in Claude Desktop, Cursor, or a terminal. Most teams use both.
How does Elido show up in AI search answers?
We publish llms.txt, full Schema.org JSON-LD on every page, and a machine-readable OpenAPI spec. Crawlers from Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google use these to understand what Elido does. When someone asks 'what URL shortener supports SCIM in the EU?', these signals are what puts us in the answer.
Can my team use the Slack bot on the Free plan?
Yes. The Slack /elido command is available on all plans including Free. You get the same 500 clicks/month limit that applies to links created anywhere else. The bot doesn't change your plan's quotas.
The Discord bot says Beta — what does that mean in practice?
It runs in production and we use it ourselves, but the command surface is narrower than Slack (create and retrieve only, no analytics). We're adding UTM support and folder targeting before calling it stable. Bug reports welcome — the bot source is in the same monorepo as the MCP server.
