Notion + Elido — your links database, synced to Notion

Every Elido link will appear as a row in a Notion database you own — slug, destination, tags, and live click count, kept in sync both ways. OAuth setup, no API key required. Coming Q3 2026.

What you can do

Manage links where your team already works

Your links as a Notion database
Every Elido link — slug, destination, tags, click count — will live as a row in a Notion table you own. Browse, filter, and comment on your links without leaving Notion.
Bidirectional sync
Add a destination URL in Notion and Elido creates the short link. Edit the slug in Elido and the Notion row updates. Changes flow both ways, automatically.
Column mapping you control
Match Notion columns to Link fields during setup. Bring your existing column names — Elido adapts to your schema rather than forcing a fixed structure.
Scoped database access
OAuth page picker ensures Elido only sees the database you explicitly share. Your other Notion pages, docs, and workspaces remain completely private.

How it works

Bidirectional — Elido ⇄ Notion

After you authorize Elido via Notion's OAuth page picker, Elido's sync worker mirrors your links into the selected database. Changes in Elido propagate to Notion within minutes; rows you add or modify in Notion propagate back to Elido. The sync uses Notion's official API with the scopes you approved — nothing more.

1
OAuth authorization

You pick the exact Notion database to share — no workspace-wide access

2
Initial sync

All existing Elido links appear as rows with slug, URL, tags, click count

3
Ongoing bidirectional sync

Changes in either direction propagate automatically

Setup guide

Two steps to link sync (Q3 2026)

Note: Coming Q3 2026. Sign up to be notified at /dashboard/integrations.
  1. 1
    Connect via OAuth

(coming) Click Connect → authorize Elido on the Notion page picker → select the database to sync.

  2. 2
    Map columns

(coming) Match Notion columns to Link fields (Slug, Destination URL, Tags, Click count).

Authentication

OAuth2 — database-scoped, no API key required

The Notion integration will use the OAuth2 flow that Notion provides for third-party integrations. You click Connect, Notion shows you a page picker where you select only the databases you want to share, and Elido stores the resulting access token encrypted with your workspace's KMS key. You never paste an API key — the OAuth dance handles authorization. You can revoke access at any time from Notion's Connected Apps settings or from /dashboard/integrations in Elido.

Elido requests the minimum scopes: read_database, update_database, and insert_database on the selected database only. No access to unshared pages, comments, or other workspaces.

Frequently asked questions

When will the Notion integration be available?+

We are targeting Q3 2026. Sign up for early access at /dashboard/integrations — you'll be the first to know and get a chance to join the beta.

What data will Elido sync into Notion?+

Each Elido link becomes a row in your chosen Notion database. Columns will include: Slug, Destination URL, Tags, Click count (updated periodically), Status (active/expired), and a deep-link back to the Elido dashboard.

Will I be able to create Elido links from Notion?+

Yes — bidirectional sync is the target. Adding a row in Notion with a destination URL will create the corresponding Elido link. Updates and deletes flow both ways.

What OAuth scopes will Elido request from Notion?+

We will request read_database, update_database, and insert_database on the specific database you select. Elido will not be able to access pages or databases you did not explicitly share during setup.

Can I limit sync to a specific Notion workspace?+

Yes. The Notion OAuth page picker lets you share individual databases, not your entire workspace. Elido will only see what you deliberately share.
