Getting Started
Invite your team
Add members to your workspace, pick the right role, and (optionally) wire up SCIM for auto-provisioning.

Workspaces are the unit of collaboration in Elido. Every short link, custom domain, and analytics dashboard is owned by a workspace; users you invite get access to all of it according to the role you grant.
Send an invite#
- Settings → Members → Invite member.
- Type the email. We send the invite immediately; the recipient clicks the link, signs up (or signs in), and lands in your workspace.
- Pick a role:
- Owner — full control, including billing.
- Admin — manage links, domains, and members; can't change billing.
- Editor — create and edit links; can't manage domains or members.
- Viewer — read-only; sees links and analytics but can't change anything.
Invites expire after 7 days. You can resend or revoke an invite at any time from Settings → Members → Pending.
Custom roles#
On the Business plan you can create custom roles with fine-grained permissions. The most common ones we see in the wild:
- Campaign manager — create + edit links, no domain access.
- Auditor — read-only across everything including the audit log.
- Designer — QR codes only, no link analytics.
SCIM provisioning#
If you're on the Business plan and use Okta, Azure AD, or Google Workspace, you can wire up SCIM 2.0 so members are added and removed automatically when you onboard or offboard people in your IdP. The setup takes about 15 minutes per IdP.
Single sign-on#
SAML SSO is enabled per workspace via your Ory Hydra tenant. We support Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, JumpCloud, and any other SAML 2.0 IdP. Once SSO is on, you can require it (no password fallback) for every member of the domain.
Removing a member#
Open Settings → Members, click the row, and choose Remove. The member loses access immediately; their links remain owned by the workspace, and their session is invalidated within 60 seconds across all regions.
If you remove the only Owner, the next-most-senior member is automatically promoted so the workspace can't be orphaned.
